Overview

The Theodora von Auersperg (TvA) Foundation is embarking on a groundbreaking initiative to create a state-of-the-art  Veterinary Clinic, Animal Shelter, and Therapy Center—a holistic sanctuary where compassion for animals meets healing for people. This flagship project will serve as a model of humane care, rehabilitation, and education, while promoting social inclusion and public awareness around animal welfare and child development.

Key Components

🩺 Veterinary Clinic & Mobile Clinic – “Healing on Wheels”

A fully equipped clinic offering high-quality, affordable medical care for animals, including:

• Emergency and surgical services
• Preventive medicine and vaccinations
• Spay and neuter campaigns
• Mobile outreach for underserved areas

🐾 Animal Shelter

A world-class, sustainable facility designed to provide safe haven, rehabilitation, and rehoming services for abandoned, abused, and stray animals. Features include:

• Spacious, species-appropriate living areas
• Outdoor exercise yards and enrichment zones
• On-site adoption and volunteer programs
• Education zones for school visits and public workshops

🤝 Animal-Assisted Therapy Center for Children

An emotionally transformative environment where rescued animals support the wellbeing of children with emotional, behavioral, developmental, and trauma-related challenges. Programs include:

• Equine-assisted therapy
• Canine and small animal therapy
• Sensory gardens and nature interaction
• Specialized programs for children from vulnerable groups, including orphans, children with disabilities, and trauma survivors
